What is yet to come

So, it has taken me some time to get back to this and to write and then making sure I can get focused on what I want to write.

As I have gone through days and read something, or listened to a podcast or a song, or had a conversation or witnessed people interacting I have had ideas of things to write about. I am hopeful those will turn into posts for people to read and then comment on.

I continue to believe that I have a lot to offer folks and I don’t want to just post about an event, but the meaning of the event that I witnessed or participated in. The even can be any of those activities listed above.

Some of my other thoughts have been (and this all needs cleaned up before I share the site):
So I am into the first full week of having this web-site and I was hoping to post at least one entry per week. As I talked about in the first post I want to write about those issues that each of us deal with but we often find hard to talk about. I have had lots of ideas go through my head in the past week as to what I could write about. The topics came to me as I sat through meetings, had conversations with friends, had conversations with family, as I watched how people engaged with other people, and in other ways. In all of these, I tried to tie my faith back to the experience. Not so much in a WWJD type of contemplation, but more about what does the Bible teach us, either in the Old or New testaments about the topics I will bring up.

Topics that I will write about are:
anxiety
guilt
proper prior planning prevents poor performance
showing up prepared
having a routine
taking time to listen and engage
catching up with old friends
spending time with old friends
finding peace in the middle of a hard situation
living out my faith
doing what is right
respect for others and having hard group conversations
leading, having to make decisions
doing the hard work when others aren’t looking so that when I have to make a hard decision it is not hard
and more to come

So, all of this is also a test for me to learn the best way to set these pages up so that they show up on the “home” page and that I am learning how to format all of this so that it works.

I suspect this will become my form of a FaceBook experience, but with rules.
